From the look, this stall look normal and don't look tasty at all... no long Q ... quite quiet .. really serve nice food? I was curios...

So .. don't even judge the book by the cover ... now you see this is the true and this is really so nice... the taste of the coconut really nice.. she mastered it... coconut milk was cooked with its original taste and also made the dish even more tasty.. the most important is ... CHEAP!!! hahhahah cheap and nice food... Worth your dollar...

Chimney Cake

I went to Expo just now, here something unique in this food fair...

This is Chimney cake/bread... a Germany cuisine... the booth managed by a chef and a girl only.

He was doing this on the spot and is so fast to serve and taste amazingly nice. Homely taste and serve nice in party especially in Christmas season.

They have no shop in Singapore... and only do event service.. whoever interested please visit their website at www.jonapotbakeries.com for further information.

Watami new in ION Orchard B3-23

First visit to Singapore First Watami Japanese & Korean Cuisine restaurant... I knew of this place because of the brochure... the price cheap .. so I would like to try ... but Dawn said ... she had tried before in Hong Kong.. that was fantastic and this restaurant one of her favourite... so since we are so keen to try... today with Corrine... we came here...

It was a long Q.... I think most people visit here because is new and cheap... SGD8.80 you can have the set... with drink for free and various selection... What's a good deal...

i order this yuzu drink.. bit sour i love the taste... something that feed my tastebud well..they serve in cold as well... with soda water.. nice in hot and cold...

Corrine's order came first... unagi rice with udon soup.. udon is chewy and the soup taste great.. i like the unagi... you can felt the meat and the outside is crispy fish skin.. and the meat is great you can felt the freshness with the great texture... nice unagi they serve...served not only with rice but the omelet slides.. the whole combination really fantastic...

taste it in a portion... felt how magic this combination fill up your taste bud....

thereafter, Dawn had her bibimbap served.... served in hot stone ... the real way to serve bibimbap... rice was grilled crisply .. mixed up everything like rojak.. and taste it....this is really nice man... tell you you have to try it your own... I can't story much because this is really yummy... especially the kimchi... so nice~~~

like a mini steambout.. i ordered shabu shabu... sweet salty stock was serve... now let me try how the taste... was wanted to order kimchi stock but only available on Monday...

I had my first Philippines food

Marlon and Jonah brought me to Lucky Plaza to try their food... SGD 5, 2 dishes with rice and drinks.

Like our mix rice here... some of their dishes are the same like our chinese food.. all looked yummy and I choose 2 .... see below picture....

the red dish look like ours curry but is not.. is sweet actually.. meat are tender.. nice taste... i don't like sweet dish but this is still okay to me.. the other dish look sweet but is actually bit spicy and salty... is cooked with coconut milk... you can really taste the coconut strongly and the fragrance of it.. but really not sweet.. taste great!!!

behind the dish is deep fried pig skin... is crunchy and you have to dip with vinegar... taste heavenly.... taste it today!!!

marlon ordered this... i tried some also.. the meat really tender .. is beef... kind of sweet.. which bit too heavy to me.. (i'm not a sweet person, someone drink milo kosong) the soup is like ours chinese soup .. really same taste... nice also

and this is halo-halo ... mean mix mix... like our ais kacang.. but different ingredient.. ours is ais.. but their not .. great taste.. nice dessert with the sweetness that i can take....

so try out Philippines food today.. you might fall in love...

Pasta de Waraku

My colleague Dawn brought me to try this special Japanese pasta...

Knowing Waraku is a nice Japanese Cuisine Restaurant, well my first time to try out their pasta... impress me...

my colleague ordered a set, which come with pizza and pasta... various variety from the menu you may choose... all look yummy i tell you... you gonna spend more than months time to test out all the favour....

pizza... very thin crust with bacon and vege... really yummy.. crispy and i love the taste...

pasta come with the set.. egg was prepared nicely .. cabonarra sauce is rich and yet light not too fattening.. with some bean make it more textures... the whole combination.. rock! should try!!

pasta in "black".. this not toy.. this made by squid sauce... you can't imaging that this can be eat and it's taste nice.. you got to try it.. and felt your mouth full with black saucy .. the most natural vampire make up in the world..

craving with lasagna

suddenly I am craving with lasagna... pass by this new shop at Tampines Mall 1, Say Cheese.

I ordered one and taste it. Generally the taste I am quite love it ... a bit wasted is that that bit too hard and the portion is quite big for one person. The taste is very strong and you can easily get full...

Overall nice taste still...

Nice braised duck @ East Cost

I have been to East coast several times, I don't know that east coast has such a nice stall. So is located at this East Coast Lagoon Food Village.

now you can see there are many ducks hanging there...waiting for you

Yam rice... very nice fragrant ... ...

sauces and chillies ... important condiment to eat with duck rice...

the main dish ... duck meat... wah is delicious and the boss gave lot of gravy...

this is really worth of money ... these portion for 4 person. Each of us pay only SGD5.

Cheap right???
